Strange things happen

You’d be forgiven for not knowing what lies above Pavilion Geelong, everlasting views, overflowing light, a modern yet minimalistic restaurant space oozing with class. The epitome of everything we love, good food, drinks and a taste of summer no matter what season we’re in, all right by the shores of Geelong’s Eastern Beach.

Our story
Caledonia Shores stems out of a passion project during the 2021 lockdowns. Executive chefs John Woo and Allan Hwang began curating an Asian freestyle menu that was featured as a ‘pop-up’ at venues across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula to service local communities with great flavours during a difficult time across Victoria. Flash forward to the present day, we were lucky enough to find a permanent home for these unique dishes and showcase it to the Geelong community.
What we believe in
To put it simply, we believe in great food, punchy drinks and unbeatable vibes, 7 days a week. We are here to host life’s special moments, those low-key dinner dates with friends or a quiet drink on the balcony taking in the sweeping views of Geelong’s Eastern Beach. Caledonia Shores exists as a meeting place for Geelong locals and visitors alike, a place to be social and enjoy the good times.
